Enroute to the Palace, we made a brief stop at the restaurant Le
Tangia that used the beautiful metal shades in its lighting system.
The light from the shades was reflected onto the walls of the
restaurant. The Palace was beautiful, though because they were preparing for a water sport exhibition it lost a lot of its atmosphere.
We had this loud video constantly playing in every room depicting
the different water sports. One bedroom was quite interesting with
its oversized furniture. The afternoon we spent on
our own in the Souk. After several of us voiced our concern about getting lost (memories of Fes) , Meli finally just told us to GET
LOST. We had a wonderful afternoon and returned to the hotel via horse and buggy. This evening we had a delicious dinner that ended
our beautiful, fantastic, dream like trip through Morocco. Musicians
and a fantastic belly dancer accompanied the dinner.
