When we arrive at Ulaan Baator, who will meet us? |
A representative from our Mongolia Office will meet you at the air port. Please look for a MELITOUR sign. If your plane is delayed or should there be a problem meeting the person who should give you a transfer, please take a taxi to the hotel. We will refund your taxi ride.

What will the weather be like? |
Make sure you plan for very cold nights. Always plan for layering. The weather in Mongolia , even in the desert can get pretty cold , low 40s and 50s. In the lake region it can be freezing. But for warm mid days lease make sure you have light T shirts. |
How many people per ger/yurt |
If you signed up as a single, you will be single in the yurt as well as in the hotel rooms.
The doubles will also have only 2 people in a ger |
Should we bring gifts to give to the families that we will visit? |
No you do not give gifts to the families but you can bring second hand clothes to give to Orphanage where hundreds of street children are seeking refuge. |

Can we have an access to internet on the tour? |
Only when we are in Ulaan Baatar, you can have an access to internet. Generally in the ger camps they have no telephones. |
What will you suggest we should pack special for this tour |
Make sure you have your flash lights
Make sure you have insect repellent
Make sure you have enough spare batteries and film/or memory on your camera cards |
Should we travel light? |
Definitely you should travel light. The domestic flights allow only 10 KGS ( 22 Pounds) to check in and 10 pounds for carry on. and they are very strict with their regulations |
