You will not need to use
Turkish words. However, if you greet the people we meet with few Turkish
words, they will be very pleased.
Here are few words that might melt the ice quickly when you interact with
the locals. The villagers are very much interested in family relations.
You will probably be asked many time if you have children or weather or not you are married. Though 99% of the villagers will love to have their picture taken, it is still polite to get their permission. So please learn how to ask their permission for taking pictures of especially the older people. Some of the phrases will be about such conversation. |
